Fakta om studiet

  • Det store gen-projekt, B10K, er ledet af Københavns Universitet i samarbejde med China National Genebank, The Smithsonian Natural Museum, Rockefeller University og The Chinese Academy of Sciences.
  • Dette studie er en del af den anden af B10K’s fire faser – den såkaldte familie-fase.
  • Forskningen beskrevet her er støttet af Carlsbergfonden, og den næste tredje fase, hvor genomer fra 2250 fuglearter skal sekvenseres, bliver støttet af Villumfonden.
